( Note: The goal set above is mandatory and is not expected, any contributions made are greatly appreciated and will be recieved with love and respect for Alan )
This is Alan, My dad, he sadly passed away on the 21st of March at King's College Hospital London.
Alan was 74 years old, who had suffered with 3 strokes leading to early frailty, in recent years it became hard for him to be as independent, as he would like and unfortunately became bed bound.
Alan Courtman was a man of nature, kind hearted and in touch with green fingers, weather it be cultivating flowers for the bee's, or putting out suet balls and treats for the birds, He was always watching the latest David Attenborough shows too ( While adding he own narrative ).
There is a great opportunity for Alan's love of all things great and small ( Nature ) to carry on, after he's unfortunate passing.
We have the opportunity to have a tree planted in he's name with a plaque commemorating he's memory. He will in spirit and mind be carrying on with he's love and passion, Providing home for the birds and flowers and for the neighbouring insects.
The wind can carry on he's whispers and story's as the leaves will russle together.
Also bring colour to the spring and summers, as well as offering shelter and warmth to those in need, in those chilly months of winter.
The wind will spread more seeds and in effect growing Alan's love and passion on a wider scale.
Everything in which Alan stood for in life, be it in animals or humans, Alan was never the individual to see anyone or anything without. When you were feeling low or down, he would raise your spirits and make you laugh, maybe sometimes cry.
Yes Alan was stubborn and set in his ways, But when he wanted to do something or be somewhere, He would!
Alan's perseverance and determination was absolutely incredible, he wouldn't give up, come rain or snow, He was so strong minded, he's talents could not be counted on two hands.
Alan will be forever loved, missed and those core memories will always cherished forever.
