I am heartbroken over the tragic loss of Leah Fonte and her fiancé Shane Hirstius. Leah was the beautiful daughter of my former coworker, Jennifer Fonte. Leah was smart, beautiful, and had her entire life ahead of her. She was so close to achieving her dream of attending dental school, making this loss even more heartbreaking.

I created this GoFundMe to help Jennifer during the most difficult time of her life. No mother should ever have to experience the pain of losing her child, and I hope we can come together to help ease some of the financial burden so Jennifer can take the time she needs to grieve without the added stress of having to return to work too soon.
