Imagine losing everything.....



I'm writing this note to appeal to all my friends and colleagues that woke up today with their families and friends and thought, even subconsciously, 'How lucky am I?' 

In Houston today many are trying hard to find that sentiment. So many of our friends have been displaced and the Houston community is pulling together. The aftermath and the feat of trying to get back to normal is going to be monumental for many. We want to help those in need with this task.

As an example of just one such family; many of you know Max loves his Little League baseball and we intentionally participated in that to meet local people and become part of their community. One such family we met have potentially lost everything. They were evacuated by boat and are currently in one of the many shelters. Their cars are gone and at the time of leaving, water had risen to 12ft in their apartment complex. They are faced with having to start from scratch. 

So here is where we can make a difference. To be clear I'm not talking about an anonymous charitable donation, I'm talking about me personally asking you to help, me taking that help directly to people, whose lives WILL change with ONE act of kindness and buying them essential things to help them START AGAIN. Every penny will be spent to help those in need and we will keep folks posted on exactly what and whose lives you affect.

I know you guys are the best, which is why we stay connected with you all on social media and are proud to call you friends.
