Hi, My name is Samantha Reid and I’m a Registered Nurse. I am organizing this fundraiser along with Jordan Miller founder of IasoVoluntours in regards of getting a toilet or restroom installed at Obidan Primary school in Ghana! I visited there for the first time last year in October along with some other healthcare professionals! We donated school supplies and told the students we were there to help in any way we could! Therefore we are seeking the assistance of anyone that would like to donate in order to help the students get a new toilet! As you can see in the picture they are having to urinate/defecate in a hole! There’s no privacy for the little girls that maybe on their menstrual cycle and also having to share the area with boys! It’s not a clean or safe environment! God has really touched my heart with regards on working towards this project! I will keep this account open for a several months as I will return for a 3rd time in August! We plan at that time to meet with a local contractor to get everything set up and start working towards this project! There’s no set amount we are asking for but if you’re able to donate any amount it would be deeply appreciated! All the proceeds collected will go towards getting the new toilet or restroom installed at the school for both girls & boys! I will keep everyone updated with the progress!
