Making a Home for my Dad

Never in a million years did I think I would be doing something like this. But in one day your whole life can change. I am the daughter of two very wonderful parents who have been married for over 40 years. They have lived in the same small town in Texas their whole marriage. My husband and I spend every second we can with each them and I love them both with all I have.

This week my entire world changed.. we learned that my dad has stage 4 gastric cancer and about a year to live. He wants to spend his remaining time with family. My parents are going to move into my home so that we can be together and also so that my dad will be close to the medical facilities he will need on this journey. My borther and other family are just moments away as well. 

Currently my home has all bedrooms and full baths on the 2nd floor. As time progresses we will need a full bath and bedroom and bath on the first floor. We need to build an addition.. and soon. I am a regular person with a regular job, I currently work in a local school district and make money but can't get this done alone. My family will find a way to pay to get my parents the space they need if we have to but if anyone can donate and help us make this transision easier and give my parents the space they need during this time it would fill my heart with hope and let me spend days with my dad with less worry. Anything is appreciated! Please help me get my dad comfy and in a space he and my mom can call their own. Your help is appreciated more than words can express.
