Solidarity with Striking or Fired Phoenix IWW Union Workers

Help Union Workers Fight back Against Retaliation.

Phoenix IWW Union workers are putting everything on the line to fight for better working conditions, respect and agency on the job, and a better future for workers everywhere. They have no way of knowing when or if their bosses will cut their hours or even fire them for unionizing. Even though retaliation is illegal, it still happens all too often. It can take years before a fired worker gets their day in court. Without a source of income they and their families can face hunger, eviction, foreclosure, or worse. We can't let that happen.

The Phoenix Branch of the IWW uses its solidarity fund to support workers who are facing these struggles. We pay rent, utilities, and other bills for workers who have been fired for organizing, and make sure their fridge and pantry is stocked. We also use the funds to support striking workers on the picket line who are bravely with-holding their labor and going without a paycheck to fight for what they believe in.

Now, perhaps more than at any other time in living memory, workers need to know that their union has their back and can support them. In turn, Phoenix IWW is counting on your donations to make sure we can.
