On November 11, 2014 my mother (left), Tien Nguyen, was shot in the head at a driveway on Trojan and 54th St in San Diego, CA. She was pronounced dead two hours following the incident. What initially was a small dispute with the perpetrator later developed into a crime with intent.

The dispute? It was about a disagreement of opinions. The perpetrator was known to be a drug addict and a gambler, with a long criminal history. He decided to take it personally and rounded up my mom and two others to make the biggest mistake of his life. After the investigators were about to apprehend him in Texas, the perpetrator committed suicide (here's the link) .  

My mom didn't deserve to get murdered over nothing. My mother, who was only 42 years old was so loving, caring, and hard-working. She treated everyone with love and respect with a life goal of making her only daughter happy. Everyone--acquaintances, friends, and family--are at a loss at this sudden and shocking tragedy. 

My family and I are preparing for her funeral, and we need some extra help. Please help my mom, my family, and myself to properly send my mom to rest peacefully.
