Islamic Foundation of Southwest Suburbs (IFSWS) is an approved 501© charity organization (Tax ID: 35-2328850), founded in 2007 to provide a place for 5 daily prayers & Jummah to the residents of Plainfield, North Joliet, Lockport, South Naperville, Crest Hill and surrounding areas.
Masha Allah, with the blessings of Allah SWT we have found a perfect location, only 2.5 miles away from our current Musallah, it is almost 6000 Sq Ft, 2 plus acre with a fully finished basement with kitchen and bathrooms and already zoned as R1 special use with the Plainfield village. We were able to negotiate and offer a price of $580,000, much lower than the appraised/asking price with a tentative closing in early May 18th 2017.
Alhumdulillah the board members (Tamveer Iqbal, Zaki Basalath, Imran Ali Khan & Syed Pasha as the Executive board) and their families have raised over $206,000 thus far and are ramping up fundraising efforts as we enter the home stretch to reach our goal of the accepted offer price of $580,000 and close the deal, InShaAllah, on May 18, 2017.
