The Southern California based Industry Dance Awards, which produces an annual event that brings the global dance community together in celebration of creativity, industry innovation, and the fight against cancer,
along with our generous Sponsors, have joined together to help bring assistance to dance studios affected by Hurricane Harvey & Irma. The damage to this area has been truly devastating and we look to the dance community to bring relief.
Beginning with a considerable donation from our Sponsors, we have created a GoFundMe account in an effort to help rebuild and repair the studios that have been significantly harmed by this national disaster.
Funds will be used for materials needed to rebuild, contractors, electricians and plumbers, equipment such as stereos and computers, along with providing dance wear and dance shoes to those families that lost everything.
We will continue to stand by our dance families and offer love and support from the community. Your donation will go directly to the studio owners, who are our clients and friends, supporting them in this great time of need.
The funds will be distributed by check to studios that have been approved by the Funds Distribution Committee that consists of Jackie Sleight and Michelle Kresge.
