Greetings All,
Yes, yes, yes...I am back at it again!!!
In March of 2017, I again will be going on a Mission Trip that the West Houston Seventh-day Adventist Church is coordinating with Maranatha Volunteers International to construct an eight-classroom Education and Evangelism Center for Barros Blancos Adventist Primary School. The Actual dates are from March 16-28, 2017.
A little back story on Barros Blancos Adventist Primary School:
A few years ago, the Adventist Church voted to close the Barros Blancos Adventist Primary School,
due to crumbling infrastructure and a lack of students. But the teachers fought to keep the school open,
sacrificing much of their salaries and working hard to recruit new students. Today, the school is thriving
with 140 students; more than 90% are not part of the Adventist Church. Many more students have
shown interest in enrolling, but the school is not large enough to accommodate additional students.
They are currently operating out of Sabbath school classrooms as well as three small modular
classrooms, and they have to operate two shifts each day to accommodate the current students.
This new complex will allow the school to operate in it’s own facility and provide room for growth up to 320 students!
Here is the site where we will be building:

We will have over 30 people going to Uruguay.
Our project will also include Vacation Bible School outreach. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to teach about and exemplify Christ’s love in a practical way.
As you can imagine, traveling abroad to do these things is costly. Your gift will help cover airfare, room and board, meals, as well as the needed building and ministry supplies for myself and our team.
***Funds are due by January 31, 2017***
Thank you in advance for your help. I am excited and feel tremendously blessed by being given the opportunity to be involved in this ministry. I know it will be very worthwhile and rewarding work.
God Bless,
Kenton
