Who this fundraiser is for:

This fundraiser is for my beautiful son, Imaan, who was recently hit by two cars in a devastating hit-and-run. He was left on the road. He suffered serious life-changing injuries and is now facing a long, painful journey of recovery. As his mother and primary caregiver, I, Aliyah Hussain, have set up and am managing this fundraiser on his behalf.

Why we need help:

After being discharged from the hospital, Imaan was sent home with nothing but a pair of crutches. We weren’t given any other mobility aids or adaptations to help him manage daily life. He’s in constant pain and struggles with even the simplest tasks. The trauma of the accident has deeply affected him emotionally and physically, and I’ve had to take time off to care for him full-time.

Imaan is now under the care of a specialist orthopaedic team and has another surgery scheduled for this Monday, 2nd June. We’ve been doing everything we can to support him, but the costs are becoming overwhelming from travel, pain relief, and home care to all the essentials he needs for healing and comfort.

How the funds will be used:

Every donation will go towards:

• Travel to and from hospital, including Monday’s upcoming surgery

• Equipment to support his mobility, like a wheelchair, stool and proper seating.

• Private physiotherapy and long-term rehabilitation

• Home adaptations and daily care needs

• Emotional and psychological support to help him process this trauma

The funds will go into my bank account (Aliyah Hussain) and be used solely to support Imaan’s recovery.
