I am creating this GoFundMe to help with the our mother Maureen Hunter try to get a second opinion and moved closer to home after being diagnosed with cholandrial carcinoma. This came on so fast and it’s a very aggressive and invasive type of cancer which has started to spread to her pancreas, gallbladder, & lymph nodes. Some might know her better as “Mrs. Hunter” because she was a music teacher at Stillwater elementary school for 35 years retiring in 2006. We are desperately trying to get her moved closer to home for a second opinion, if not Home to be with us. As of now they’re saying that they can’t do any type of treatment for this type of cancer because she is 76, but we are not OK with doing nothing, that is why we were trying for a second opinion. She has two grandchildren Eddie who is 12, and Mason who is 7, along with 3 children of her own and husband she’s been with for 52 years who care deeply about her and want her to receive the best of the best we can find to try and help treat this type of cancer and give her some more time with us. We are looking for any kind of miracle right now. If you’re able to donate to help us with traveling to the hospital and to put towards any type of medical costs that might arise to help transfer her it will greatly be appreciated.
