I’m Stephanie, and I’m asking for help after Hurricane LaLa damaged my rental home on Oahu. The storm caused flooding, roof damage, downed trees and cables, power outages, and the loss of internet and cellular service. Because I live on top of a mountain, I was trapped when trees blocked the road, and I also missed work during this storm.
I really need to move and find a safer home for myself, my seven small dogs, and my blue and gold macaw.
Two of my dogs are elderly, and one is blind and deaf, so safe, stable housing is especially urgent for us. Your support will help cover first and last month’s rent and moving costs so I can relocate closer to work and give my animals the stability they need. Right now, I leave two hours early just to get to work on time, and it takes me an extra hour to get home. With rising living costs, I can’t do this alone. Any donation or share would mean so much and help bring safety, peace, and a fresh start to me and the animals who depend on me every day.
I’m still recovering from the loss of my horse and the Kona low flooding. I’ve been blessed to have a loaner vehicle, however I will also be needing to buy a vehicle as well. Any support would help me take the next steps toward a safer home, reliable transportation, more stability and safety for me and my animals.
Thank you so very much.
