Flooded Victims of Kountz, TX

My name is Shaun Stark from Colleyvile TX and this past weekend I went to Kountze, TX to help my best friend Whitney and his parents who had lost everything. You don't realize the magnitude of such loss until you see it in person. This was something that I'll never forget. Water is not discriminatory, it takes over everything in its path and leaves behind destruction that is unbelievable. 95% of all of the cherished and personal belonging are ruined. This includes not only there house but all of the personal vehicles (1 car, a Polaris Ranger and Camper)and work vehicles (6). Something else that had a profound effect on me was how all of the victims around my friend house came together to help one another out. It wasn't, "sorry I've got problems of my own", it was "How can I help". This was true with all member of the families. I am starting this to not only help out my best friend but also to help out the other victims in his neighborhood that lost everything as well. I know that this will not cover all of the damage for these unfortunate people but something is better that nothing at all. We will be using the proceeds to purchase new sheet rock and other construction items for the individuals that lost everything around my best friend's house.
