Affordable Housing Model Damaged
Donation protected
During A New Orleans Hurricane landfall, as a Category 2 storm with 110 mile-an-hour winds, 1 mph shy of a Category 3, self investments and building materials were immediately destroyed, leaving costly devastation as shown in the pictures. In addition to hurricane damages, uninsured construction materials were destroyed. Making a bad situation worse the heavy rains created a torrent of water creating mold on the structures interior which must be remediated or replaced.
This building project is personal and close to my heart. Not only is it my home. It is a model home for Disable Veterans and First time Home buyers to help in the rebuilding process of Eastern New Orleans. 2020 and 2021 has been a Pandemic and Natural Disaster Nightmare. We can’t wait until we are able to help with affordable housing for our Veterans and Educators again!
*All donations are Tax Deductible!
