Huntley Cafe - Please help our cafe stay open

Hi, my name is Deanna Brenny and I am trying to raise some much needed funding for our little cafe in Huntley, MN for some much needed updates.

**UPDATE 10/31** We just had one freezer and one refrigerator go down on us this past week. They have since been fixed, but now put an even more financial strain on our business. We truly appreciate the donations that have come in, and all the regular customers that still come to enjoy the food and atmosphere, but we are still struggling to stay afloat. ***

My husband and and I purchased this little cafe a year ago, pursuing his lifelong dream of owning a small restaurant. However, after purchasing, we noticed that there were multiple updates that were needed going under new ownership, rather than being grandfathered in like the previous owners were. Some updates include the fire suppression/ansul system (this is a major expense that has now been completed), stove/grill, make-line and other necessary items. These are items that have been in the cafe for well over 30 years are in desperate need of replacement.

While we have updated some previous items, such as refrigerators and freezers, we still need assistance on some other items as well.

Although the cafe is still operable, and we have very happy, and regular, customers, we are looking for help in keeping this place operational for the community as it has been around for over 50 years and still going strong.

Since our menu prices have been very low to keep it affordable for all that come to visit and dine with us in the past, we have been forced to raise prices recently, but there honestly is not enough funding to continue to do this on our own.

I am reaching out in a plea of help for any and all who is willing to help us keep our doors open!
