Hubby has colon cancer

Hi, my name is Angie Truscott. I am starting this to help pay for my husband Marc's surgery and missed work. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer in October 2022. He has been exhausted by the smallest of jobs. Trying to even do things around the house is painful. Both physically and mentally because he's never had anything this severe to limit him. Since he lost his Dad to cancer a few years ago he thought he was living healthy. He loves playing volleyball and disc golf. Getting back to his sports has been a very strong motivator. Mentally he is in the fight of his life. His main stressor is the income he will miss from at least 6 weeks of lost work. The medical bills are already rolling in. Over $2000 already and he's still a week from surgery. We found out yesterday that his surgery alone is going to be over $20,000 out of pocket. We are delivery drivers and if we don't work, we don't get paid. So I am reaching out to see if anyone can help with finances so he can relax and focus his energy to his recovery.
