My daughter, Lindsey and her husband, Marquis Carvin who are expecting a Baby Boy October 2020 received some devastating news at 21 weeks pregnant. Baby Boy will be born with a Congenital Heart Defect that will require surgery within days of birth. His heart has what is called a Double Outlet Right Ventricle with D Transposition. He may also have an Aortic Valve Obstruction which would require him to get a catheter tube inserted in his heart. Lindsey will be delivering him via c-section in Atlanta to be close by to the Egleston Childrens Hospital, where he will be transferred to and have his surgery. When he is born he will have an umbilical port put in for him to receive a medication that will help his heart function properly until surgery. He will be in the NICU before and after surgery until he has recovered enough to be moved to a step down hospital room. Lindsey and Marquis will be staying close by to be with the baby during the whole recovery process. Marquis will have to be away from work and does not get paid time off. They also have a 1year old daughter who will have to be taken care of by other family while they are away from home. Due to the Covid-19 there are several visitation rules at the hospitals and Lindsey and Marquis are the only visitors allowed. Since Lindsey is having a c-section she will need Marquis there to help her get around until she has recovered. We are asking for your donations to help them financially through this whole process. They will need help with a hotel room (hopefully they can get into the Ronald McDonald House), eating out, gas to and from the hospital, medical bills and whatever else may be needed.  We truly are thankful for any donations you are able to give!  All things are possible with God and we ask for prayers for our Grandson and our Family!
