Prayers Brian & dogs need place and car was stolen

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Brian, and I made this because I’m hoping it might help.

I’ve been homeless for several months, living out of my car with my two dogs, Loki and Chewy. Recently, my car was stolen—with my dogs inside—and left in a ditch. Thankfully, the police found the person responsible, and I am incredibly grateful that my dogs were not harmed or abandoned somewhere dangerous. That alone is a blessing. Unfortunately, I no longer have a car.

Asking for help is not something I’m comfortable with, but sometimes you reach a point where you need a hand.

A little about me: I’m an artist. For the past few months, my dogs and I have been living in my car while I tried to find housing or a situation with a friend. Rent is extremely high, and most places require first month’s rent, last month, and a deposit—many also don’t allow dogs. I explored the idea of raising money through my art, but selling art can be difficult.

In the past, I used to hide artwork around different towns and states just to bring smiles to people’s faces. I always hoped it made someone’s day. I’m also grateful to be painting again after a time when I thought I never would—after severe HS wounds left my arms frozen. Through my art, I also try to raise awareness for HS and other illnesses whenever I can.

I see people create fundraisers for many reasons, sometimes even for vacations or small wants, and they receive support. So I thought maybe a few kind hearts might be willing to help us too.

My main goal is to secure safe shelter for myself and my dogs. If you’d like to learn more, you can check out my HS story or message me on Facebook. I share my journey in hopes it might help others feel less alone.

Living in a car with two dogs is not easy, but I believe God is watching over us. I’ve been through a lot—being bedbound, anorexic, dealing with stage 3 HS wounds, temporary paralysis as a child, Crohn’s disease, and many losses—but I’m still here, still breathing.

Life is a gift, and I am truly thankful for every day.

Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this and to those who offer support, kindness, or even just encouragement.
