Give Leonor Hope

Friends and family my turn has come, and I would lie if I told you I ever saw myself doing this; but life gets to all of us and my family isn't immune. We have been dealt a bad card. As many of you might now know, my mom was diagnosed last year with stage IV thyroid cancer; hers is a very rare form of cancer that doesn't have a very good prognosis. As a result, my mom underwent surgery to remove most of her cancerous tumor. So she has been under treatment to prevent her cancer from spreading or growing. In addition, my mom has to see several different doctors regularly, and have regular expensive scans to monitor the growth of the cancer. The costs of all the procedures, her doctor visits, scans and meds just keep accumulating and that causes so much stress to my family, especially on my mom!
My mother needs you! She wants to fight this illness but needs your help so she can continue to pay for her treatment and continue to be cared by all her doctors. 

Friends and family would you kindly give hope to my mother? Would you help with anything you can so her treatment can be possible and she gets a chance at life? My mother enjoys laughing and making other people happy! She is a social butterfly who has helped many! She is such a given person and the most selfless individual I have ever known. She has fed the hungry and offered shelter to the homeless. She has done so much for her family from offering emotional support to care for her elderly mother. 

I know she has been a pillar in our family and now we have an opportunity to show her how much you want her in our lives! Help us keep her hoping!

Familiares y amigos, nunca yo me imagine que me tocaría estar aquí, dependiendo de su caridad y bondad. Pero así es la vida, y esta vez le toco a mi familia. Como muchos ya saben, mi mama sufre de cáncer de la glandula tiroidea, etapa cuatro, es un cáncer muy raro que debido a su naturaleza requiere imágenes regulares que son muy costosas para monitorear el progreso del cáncer. Aunque ya tuvo cirugía para remover el tumor, no se pudo extirpar todo por completo. Así que ahora tiene que recibir tratamiento, citas múltiples con varios especialistas, y sobre todo las medicinas. Estos gastos se acumulan sin parar y causan mucho estrés en la familia, especialmente a mi mamá. Ahora ya no es feliz solo se preocupa por las cuentas y se siente una carga para la familia.

Ayúdanos por favor, a regresarle la esperanza y ganas de luchar a mi Madre! A ella le encanta reír y hacer reír a los demás. Mi madre ha ayudado a muchas personas. Ha alimentado muchas personas y les ha dado hogar, es la menos egoísta y más sacrificada persona que yo conozco. Siempre haciendo el bien por los demás. Ella ha ayudado tanto a su familia, en todo y con todo, en toda la extensión de la palabra.

Amigos y familia ahora es nuestra oportunidad de darle esperanza y ayuda a mi mama, a la tía querida, a la abuela adorada, y a la hermana sacrificada, y a la madre más protectora del mundo! Ella es un pilar para la familia! Ayúdanos a mantenerla luchando con esperanza y fe en Dios!
