Avery Violet, our 21-year-old daughter, has been diagnosed with Stage IV HER2-positive inflammatory breast cancer — a very rare and highly aggressive disease. In our area, she is the youngest patient specialists have encountered. There are no genetic markers and no clear explanation. She was previously in excellent health.
In less than five months, the disease has progressed from a small nodule to involvement of her entire breast, chest, liver, bones, and lymphatic system. Surgery is no longer an option.
Avery is a beloved sister to her ten siblings, a devoted aunt, and a deeply cherished friend. She is hugs and sunshine, gentleness and heart — a presence that brings warmth to everyone around her.
Now she faces the greatest fight of her life.
She cannot do this alone.
We cannot do this alone.
We need more than a village — we need a nation. The Violet Nation.
We are asking you to stand with Avery in a tangible way. Your support will help cover the urgent and ongoing costs of treatment, travel, supportive care, and the daily needs that come with fighting a disease of this magnitude.
If you are able, please give.
If you cannot give, please share her story.
If you are willing, please pray.
Every act of support matters more than you know.
Thank you, Violet Nation, for standing with us as we walk this road together for Avery.
