Hooves for Ray
Donation protected
Ray’s not just a friend… he’s the guy who’d give you the shirt off his back, then crack a dumb joke about it. He’s family, the kind who’s always got your back, whether it’s feeding our horses, fixing a busted fence, or making you laugh so hard you choke on your coffee. Even with congestive heart failure trying to slow him down, Ray’s tougher than a barn nail and still lights up like a kid when he talks about riding a big draft horse again. His old horse Chief wasn’t just a pet; he was Ray’s escape, his happy place, the kind of bond that made rough days feel lighter.
Ray’s always been there for us, opening his home to our horses and never asking for a dime. Now it’s our turn. I’ve found the perfect draft horse for him—a gentle, massive beauty that’s basically a walking hug, priced at $4,000 (plus travel costs), with a 30-day trial to make sure it’s a match. This horse could be Ray’s ticket to feeling alive again, like he’s got the wind in his face and nothing holding him back.
So, I’m reaching out as Ray’s friend with a plan: let’s pool some cash and surprise him with this horse. Picture Ray’s grin when he meets his new buddy… it would be priceless! If you’re in, let me know, and we’ll hopefully make this happen for a guy who deserves it more than anyone. Thanks, everyone!
