Honoring Our Beloved Brother in Christ, Yadessa Emiru Aga

It is with heavy hearts, yet with unwavering hope in Jesus Christ, that we share the passing of our beloved brother, son, and friend, Yadessa Emiru Aga. While returning from a church conference and spending time with close friends in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Yadessa went home to be with his Lord and Savior following a tragic accident.

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die." — John 11:25

To know Yadessa was to know genuine kindness, warmth, and joy. His humble spirit, contagious smile, and generous heart made everyone feel loved and welcomed. He was deeply cherished by his family, friends, church, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Yadessa loved exploring God’s creation, traveling, and creating meaningful memories with those around him. Above all, he loved Jesus Christ. His faith shaped the way he lived, loved, and served others. Though we grieve his sudden passing, we find peace knowing he is now in the presence of the Savior he faithfully followed.

God has faithfully provided throughout Yadessa’s life, and we trust Him still. We are grateful to be working alongside Yadessa's employer to help cover a portion of the costs of bringing him home and making funeral arrangements in both the United States and Ethiopia.

At the request of those who deeply loved Yadessa and his family, this GoFundMe has been created to help cover the remaining expenses and give him a dignified final resting place. Any support, whether through prayer or a gift, is sincerely appreciated.
