As our family grieves the heartbreaking loss of Wanda — a devoted mother, sister, auntie, wife, and one of the gentlest souls we’ve ever known — we also want to bring awareness to the JAK2 blood mutation that caused dangerous blood clots and took her from us far too soon.

Wanda was the kind of person who made everyone feel loved. She loved family time, food, laughter, Halloween movies, her Moscato, and making memories with the people she loved most. Her smile, caring heart, and beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and the pain of losing her is unimaginable.
