" A Celebration of Life Honoring, Pastor Anthony Woody Calvary."
On September 22, 2021 Anthony Woody Calvary entered eternal glory, his last breath on earth was his first breath in Heaven and we rejoice in that because a faithful servant has been welcomed home. Many have had the privilege of knowing him as one of his many titles; brother, uncle, friend, god-father, Pastor, kingdom builder full of faith, man of God, to name a few. He was also cherished and loved God fearing Father and Husband. Whichever title you have had the honor of knowing him as you know that he wore his title with honor and didn't take his roles lightly. Everything he did was intentional and from love. Anthony (Woody) was the man who never met a stranger, who some how made the time for everyone who invited and welcomed him. Many of you have shared who he was to you, confidant, constant, encourager, comforter, advisor, fun, true, gospel preacher, faithful, wise, soul winner, warrior, general and hero in the faith, who always made himself available and accessible to anyone he knew.
He had the capability of reaching so many lives because his heart was that big, his contagious smile was just as big and has left an everlasting mark in all of our lives. Because of his great love and impact many of us are left with a broken heart, but we celebrate that because had he not been such a beautiful human being our hearts would not be broken over his absence from us. With the many titles he carried there is one that is most apparent and purposeful for the life he was called to and that is the title of investor, he invested in souls, that made him the greatest investor. If you knew him you knew that’s what he cared about most. He was keenly aware of his sole purpose to preach the gospel to all and he did that faithfully through loving others. With knowing the honorable and faithful man he was please help us in giving him the proper Celebration of honoring his Life by contributing towards these unforeseen expenses.
We thank and appreciate all the Love, Support and Prayers during this time. We have seen all the post and affirmation you have shared towards Woody, my husband and our father and it deeply assures us that we all loved and cherished him to the fullest. It is evident that he has impacted so many of you so we pray that you keep his memory and the legacy that he preached and lived alive by continuing to fight the good fight of faith and preach the gospel.
