Honoring Lori Horton and Her Family

Lori Horton Ball contacted Honor Yoga almost four years ago with the desire and need to start a yoga practice. As a parent of an elementary age child who suffered from Leukemia, Lori reached out to Honor when she recognized she needed self-healing.   At the time she did not have the means to participate in  yoga and a teacher training program,  so in exchange Lori offered her marketing and writing skills. Honor Yoga Chief Yogini, Maria Turco, was touched by Lori’s story and brought her into the Honor Yoga family as a part-time writer after learning about her valuable experience.

Fast forward three years later,  Lori has been the "voice" of Honor Yoga. Much of who Honor Yoga is today is because of Lori's love and dedication to the brand. Finally after so many years of dedication this past August Lori was offered an overdue well deserved position as  Honor Yoga's Director of Marketing! In September 2018, just two weeks prior to starting her new position, Lori suffered a traumatic brain injury which has left her impaired and unable to work.  Due to her injuries, Lori had to resign from her new position in order to take time to heal. The financial and emotional implications of turning down her position have been challenging for Lori and her family.
