Honor Bob & Gretchen; Support Their Family Through Tragedy

Our family is going through the type of loss that you only hear about on TV.

Bob (Robert) and Gretchen Ackerman, beloved parents and grandparents, were taken from us in the most unthinkable way. They were murdered in their own home by their son-in-law — a man they trusted and welcomed into their family —while protecting their daughter and grandchildren from him. The grief and shock we are feeling right now are beyond words.

Their pregnant daughter — the wife of the man responsible — survived the attack, along with her children. While we are grateful they are still with us, they now face the unimaginable: mourning the loss of their beloved, processing the trauma of what happened, and trying to piece together a new life in the shadow of tragedy.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Funeral and burial expenses for Bob and Gretchen so they can be lovingly laid to rest

• Basic living costs for their daughter and grandchildren, who are now without a source of support
