A Home for A Guatemalan Widow

This summer, Libby, Kat and I will be travelling to Guatemala on a Mission Trip with Pray America (prayamerica.org). While we are there, we will be building houses for widows and other families in need. Thanks to an awesome tax return, our travel expenses and room and board are covered. We are fundraising for the cost of materials and supplies to build one house. Each house costs about $1500 and is 12' x 12' with a concrete floor, one door, one window opening with a wooden shutter, a corrugated metal roof with a skylight and a set of built in bunk beds. This will be my third trip with Guatemala with Pray America, Libby's second trip and Katherine's first time.  Please help us by donating whatever you can. Even $5.00 will help us get to our goal. The first time I went on one of these trips, I was humbled. I was humbled by how little the people living around Chichicastenango have, and I was also humbled by how joyful and grateful they are for all that they do have. And I received so much peace, joy, growth and learning. Please help us to bring joy and comfort to a Guatemalan Family.  All funds raised here will be donated to Pray America. If we exceed our fundraising goal,  Pray America will use those funds to provide houses, stoves, bathrooms, feeding programs and new shoes to children and families in Guatemala.
