Hello , I am trying fundraising again in desperation! I confess I did not know how to set this up the first time.

2 years ago I woke up to find out that my family home had a major fire and my mom had been hospitalized trying to save our pets. To make things worse the two kitties she was able to rescue and our African Grey Timi (she had for 38 years) who she had lnonger than me and was with me my whole life died after. This was the most horrific thing that has ever happened to our family.

The insurance did not cover all the costs to rebuild we are short including using the funds meant for replacing our belongings. If you can help donate anything we would greatly appreciate it.

My mother is 67 and disabled, she had to stop work because of cancer and her health has progressively gotten worse since the fire. She has been living on the land by the house but winter is here, unfortunately she can't live with me (I live with my father) and the town won't let her stay on the land now. We are trying to get enough funds to get the electric in and insulate so she has a warm place to be while we continue to work on rebuilding.

We were able to rebuild the roof, walls, and put in new windows, doors, and siding to date. Unfortunately our contractor that started the work stole $60,000 and we used all the insurance funds and savings.
