Trey (Brian Alden Matthews III) was a bright soul with a promising future ahead of him that was carelessly snatched away from him and his family the evening of January 11th, 2020.
Trey was born December 14th, 1998 and attended Ypsilanti High School for his high school career. He was only 21 years old when he left this world.
To Trey, his family meant everything. He loved spending time with his mother, Shenita (Shonne) Draw, his 5 brothers, 5 sisters, 2 neices and 6 nephews. He also enjoyed volunteering with his Step-Father, Ronald (Zawadi) Draw, at the chess club with his church. In his free time, he spent time doing his favorite thing, expressing himself through music.
Unfortunately, the family had no way of knowing this tragedy was going to happen and sadly, they do not have the funds to lay Trey to rest. We humbly ask that our community pull together and help this grieving family in anyway possible, whether it be cash donations or a simple share of this go fund me. Any and all funds collected will go directly towards Trey's Memorial, family expenses and cremation costs.
Trey was not only a son, he was also a brother, cousin, nephew, and a grandson. He was a lover, he was a friend. Trey was cared about and will be deeply missed by many.
