Compassion Transforms Us Into Heros

What we have watched our beautiful friend, Desirae, silently go through this past year deeply pains all of our hearts at HDY. She has struggled with a Fibroid tumor for years, finally having to go through a surgery totaling $20,000-- having to be paid out of pocket, while juggling two studios, teacher training school, countless classes and remodeling the Midtown studio. All contributing factors to having to close Edmond. Yet, still never asking for any help. Sometimes we can be too strong and too independent for our own good. As you may know, Desirae had to close the Edmond studio. In order to be released from a very lengthy lease she is currently in from the Edmond studio, she has to provide the Edmond location's landlord with about $7,000 in an extremely short amount of time. Your donations will be used to gracefully exit the Edmond lease. If there is a remainder, the rest will be used to help get the Midtown studio on its feet after the turbulence we have encountered with closing the Edmond location. If not, the situation will become increasingly complicated and stressful. It is very important to all of us at HDY that her stress levels stay low right now while still healing from the major surgery. So, it is up to us to end the quiet suffering. It is time to band together and find the compassion that makes us capable of magical things. While it's not easy to ask for help, she has surrendered to our requests to reach out to the community. If everyone gave their love in the form of $5, or more, she would be free and clear of this lease, and eventually create a more stable environment for Midtown. Desirae and Hidden Dragon Yoga have easily donated much more than this to charities throughout the years and hope to continue to do so with your help.
