On July 17, 2015 8 year old Delilah Scott and her Dad (Tim Scott) were riding his moped to a neighbor's house to go swimming when they were struck from behind by a car. Sadly her father did not survive. Delilah was airlifted to Palmetto Richland Children's Hospital and spent 2 days in ICU where she underwent surgery to repair a laceration to her eye and knee , and a fracture to her femur. She also has a skull fracuture, and severe road rash. Delilah has been moved to a regular room at Palmetto Richland but there is no clear discharge date at this time. Her Mom (Charity Rollins Brown) and step-dad (Douglas Brown) have been by her side since it happened, but they also have 3 boys at home. Medical bills are mounting and living away from home is expensive. All of this on top of the cost of keeping up a house hold while you're out of work is overwhelming. Please if you can help in any way it is greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps so much. The outpouring of love they have received has been amazing. Thanks in advance for everything.
