Herous Manoukian, a devoted husband, loving father, accomplished engineer, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026.

In honor of Herous’ life and legacy, the Manoukian family has established the Herous Manoukian Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a degree in engineering or a related technical field. It is designed to support aspiring engineers who demonstrate dedication, integrity, and a strong commitment to family and community, qualities that Herous embodied every day.

Through this scholarship, Herous’ legacy will continue to inspire future generations of innovators and builders. By investing in students who share his passion for learning, hard work, and quiet perseverance, we ensure that his spirit of determination, generosity, and devotion lives on for years to come.

We are American - Armenian, and our last family trip together was to Armenia, his lifelong dream and a journey that connected us deeply to our heritage and the people of our motherland.

To keep his legacy alive, we are working with an advocate in Armenia to select deserving students who aspire to become engineers. Although we do not yet have the students’ names, we are committed to ensuring that the support goes to those who share my husband’s dedication and vision for a better future. The funds raised will help cover tuition, transportation, and materials, giving these students the resources they need to pursue their education and make a difference in their communities.
