Ana & Heroes Against AML Leukemia

Donation protected
My 14yr old cousin, Ana, was diagnosed with AML Leukemia, a type of blood and bone marrow cancer. It was shocking to hear the news from my family but it was even more heartbreaking when she told me herself. This is something that you never want to hear coming from a child or any loved one. I was wishing that the doctors had made some kind of mistake in the diagnosis and that she's actually alright. But as much as I wish this wasn't true, this is really happening and it's happening to my 14yr old cousin who is an amazing young lady with such a beautiful soul. We all know that life can be really tough and life can seem very unfair even to the bestest of people. Yet, I believe we must have a great appreciation for life, live it the best we can, and not lose hope. Ana has just begun a long and tough battle to overcome this ugly cancer so that she can continue enjoying her life to the fullest. I want her to truly know that she won't be fighting alone and that she's got a ton of heroes rooting for her. I'm hoping that whoever is reading this becomes one of those heroes. That is why I am on here asking for your help because we could really use the support from as many of you as possible. As you already know, cancer takes a toll on a family emotionally,  physically, and financially. Any amount, no matter how small, will be accepted with extreme gratitude. Donations will specifically go towards helping Ana and her mother cover expenses that can't be met due to loss of work, out of pocket medical costs, or anything else they may need. Ana is the only child of a single hardworking mother. Her mom has been by her side 24/7, unable to return to work, and has been sleeping on a hospital couch. Due to the chemotherapy, Ana began losing her hair quickly and recently had to brave the shave. It's also unfortunate that she wont be able to have kids of her own. Please please please keep Anita in your prayers to give her the strength to keep fighting and to keep her spirits high when she's physically feeling down. I have faith that she will get through this. Please also keep her mother in your prayers to give her the emotional strength to bare through this. Thank you for any kind of support you can give or offer through this difficult time.
