Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Friends of the Cancer Centre and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
In September 2023 Curtis found a lump on the side of his face, after investigations, biopsies and endless tests and surgery; It was revealed in January 2024 that Curtis had a form of cancer called ’mucoepidermoid carcinoma’, this was a shock.
But through it all Curtis fought and fought and never gave up!
In March 2024 Curtis had his second operation which revealed the cancer was still there, and again in January 2025, still there - not wanting to leave his body.
In March of 2025, the decision was made to give radiotherapy a go! Hoping this will be the final stage of his treatment. On Friday 16th May 2025 Curtis completed six weeks of radiotherapy and rang the bell — a journey that tested every part of his strength and spirit. Through it all, he showed incredible determination, meeting each day with courage and hope. Never wanting to give up! He kicked cancer in the ass!
Now, as he begins the next phase of recovery, we’re rallying around him to offer support.
Our aim will be to walk 100 miles to raise crucial funds for Friends of the Cancer Centre
Every contribution helps ease the road ahead for people and families like Curtis and remind them that they are not walking it alone.
