Henry's Eagle Scout Project

My name is Henry Morin.  I am a junior at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, VA.   Boy Scouts has been an influential part of my life since the second grade.

In order to achieve the Eagle Scout rank, the highest rank in Boy Scouts, every candidate must complete  a meaningful project that positively impacts the community or a non-profit organization. This includes planning, fundraising, worker management, and execution.

Since I love animals, especially dogs, I have decided to support Gracie's Guardians, a charity specializing in bettering the situations of abused and neglected dogs.

For my project, I will be building shelters for these dogs.

The money that I am raising for this project, $800,  will be used for the materials necessary to complete it fully.  This is a specific number that we have calculated with current lumber prices.

All labor will be provided by me, my Boy Scout troop (#706),  and volunteers.

Work will begin when I have raised the $800 but not later than the 15th of March.

I am grateful for any and all contributions and your support of my Eagle project and Gracie's Guardians.
