Hi, my name is Geraldine, from France, and i created this fundraising for Yasmeen and her family, who lives in Deir al Balah.

"Hey there! I'm Yasmeen Barakat, just a girl from the crazy place in Middle East, where there is a huge humanitarian crisis.

I'm actually 20, but it feels like I've been living on this set for quite some time now, with only my family for company.

Before the war, we had nine people in our family, but it turned out all kinds of wrong when my dad just left without a word.

The mess that war made for us and our lives is just hard to put into words. We ended up moving far away from our own house, going to a place where there really isn't much.

I studied a lot in school, actually getting an average of 96.1% in science, but then it was all just a big mess when the war had to happen.

Now, there's just me and my four brothers and two sisters, and no one's had a chance to learn or grow up because everything's been so broken.

When my dad got taken away, life just got even more complicated.

He was the one who was always there to support us and make things better.

Even if you just donate a little bit, it can do so much for our family."
