Our Story....
Adam and I have been together more than 7 years now and married for 4 years now. We have been waiting and trying to extend our family for a few years now and have had no luck so far. We started this crazy rollercoaster ride 2 years ago with my OBGYN by taking Clomid (6months) with zero luck of trying on our own. My Obgyn then suggested we move to see an infertility doctor (He suggested a few). We finally made a decision on who we would start seeing and started the Fertility adventure May 2019. For May and June we did all kinds of testing to see if we had any issues....all tests showed nothing, we have what is called UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY.
July 12, 2019 was our first scheduled IUI I went in had the procedure done waited the longest 14 days of our lives!!! On July 26th EXCITEMENT hit our hearts we got a positive test, got blood work done and that also stated we were PREGNANT!! Went back July 29th for more bloodwork and we had miscarried the worst news to hear our hearts were broken.
We decided after the miscarriage to wait a bit for our hearts to heal from the loss. In September we went back for IUI number 2 it ended up being a failed IUI same with IUI number 3 we were heartbroken at this point and clueless as to what went wrong.
Adam and I did consult with our doctor after the 3rd IUI and was told it was time to move onto IVF because of my age (The older you get your egg quality drops) So with that being said 35 is not making my odds any better.
We then decided to consult with another fertility doctor for a second opinion and they too suggested the next steps were to go into IVF that according to science and the book world this would be the only way at this point for us to have a baby (which is not a guarantee) Our hearts are aching at this point as we so desperately would like to grow our family, I would like Adam to be able to experience fatherhood (He is a wonderful dad to Mackenzie don't get me wrong on that, he loves her as his own) Adam has always wanted to have kids of his own so this being said my heart is breaking that we may not be able to fulfill that dream for him.
However, our fertility doctor seems pretty certain that they would get the job DONE this way!
Please keep us in your prays....thats all that we ask<3
We love you all and thank you for all your support!
