Hello! My name is Toi! I am a high school student and worked hard for the opportunity to travel abroad!
I have always had an interest in studying new languages and cultures and ultimately chose Japan as my destination. I chose Japan for its unique culture and beautiful sights! After self-studying the language for 2 years and considerable research, I have decidedly applied for a 4 week abroad program to fully immerse myself into a new environment, and got accepted! Once I got accepted, my only concern was how to pay for it. I do work a part time job and carry a heavy work load for school as I am taking an advanced curriculum.
Through this excursion, I will gain a greater knowledge of a different culture and language and also earn college credit to prestigious colleges such as Cornell, UCLA, and NYU!
The trip starts in July and ends early August!
