Meet Lois, Al, and Apryl.
Apryl was born legally blind and severely mentally disabled. Her mother was unable to care for her, so her grandparents, Al and Lois Bell, took her in. For the past 40 years, Lois and Al have cared for Apryl as their own child.
The Bells recently moved into a home here in Las Vegas that suits Apryl's needs. One of the most important features of their new home is the pool. Swimming in the pool is Apryl's favorite activity and one of the only ways she can get exercise.
Due to Apryl's disability, she needs a pool lift in order to get into the pool. As the Bells are on a fixed income, they searched for an inexpensive pool lift. A salesman took adventage of the Bells and convinced them to pay $1,600 for a defective chairlift. The salesman has since skipped town and the Bells have no way to get their money back.
This campaign has been created to help the Bells purchase an ADA compliant pool lift for Apryl. Any contribution will go directly towards this purchase. The Bells sincerely appreciate anything you can give in order to bring a little joy to Apryl's life!
