Help Taryn Get Back on Her Feet!

Hello family and friends! I’m gathering you all here on this platform to help someone near and dear to us- Taryn! This woman, I’ve known for close to 20 years, would give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need. Now it’s time to repay the kindness, laughter, and love she’s shared with us all.

If you’ve seen Taryn in the past 10 years then you know she’s had problems with an old injury in her ankle. Through misdiagnosis’s, improper medical care, and just being shuffled around by doctors her ankle has deteriorated to the point it needs to be replaced. This will be a long hard journey with several surgeries ahead of her before she is even cleared for the ankle replacement surgery. Her quality of life is deteriorating as quickly as her ankle.

Thank god her newest doctor became invested in her and her care- diagnosing Taryn with all three types of Venous disease. The most detrimental symptom of this disease is that the veins fail to pump the blood back to the heart efficiently. She has undergone seven surgeries to try to close or remove veins to heal open ulcers and massive swelling in her legs/feet caused by this disease. She can’t even get her shoes on. She will have several more surgeries on her leg until they move to her pelvis to try and fix those veins as well. After all this is complete she can FINALLY start looking at moving ahead with her ankle surgery!

She’s already missed three months of work thus far and at least another month of surgeries to fix the veins until she is even ALLOWED to walk around more than to and from the restroom. After that!!!! She goes straight into ankle replacement surgery so she will again be immobile for another 4 or 5 months. The costs of these surgeries are astronomical, and since she’s missing work it just keeps piling on. So please contribute to Taryn’s fund to literally help her get back on her feet.
