Help save Snowy's life
Donation protected
This precious girl is Snowplow...or Snowy for short. Snowy has been struggling with spontaneous pneumothorax for about a year and a half now. Basically, her lung developed at least one small bubble (maybe several) on it that allowed air to start leaking out into her chest cavity. The first time this occurred, we simply had her tapped. This process involves draining the air from her chest cavity and giving it a chance to heal up. This seemed to do the trick, and she started recovering incredibly quickly. Unfortunately, this procedure has a recurrence rate of 50%, and luck was not on our side. A little over a year later, she suffered the same fate. I had been hoping this would be the last time she would have to go through this ordeal in her life, but I was terribly mistaken. A few months was all the time we had before it struck yet again. At this point, I have paid well over $6,000 over the last year and a half to keep her in my life. I can't afford the surgery that she needs in order to save her life. That's why I'm asking for your help. She's the sweetest and most incredible dog I've ever had the pleasure of knowing in my life. She deserves a long, happy life and has so much left to give. Her birthday is today, and she's stuck fighting for her life in the hospital. I am setting the goal for $8,000. This will hopefully cover the cost of her surgery. Any donation at all is appreciated. Even if you can't donate, please share this with anyone you know. We're not ready to let her go just yet.
