Help our HPD Ohana and the Victims of this Tragedy

My name is Andy "Alo" Ahuna-Alofaituli. I am a 41 year old Correctional Officer from the Big Island of Hawaii and I have initiated this fundraiser to ask our communities to come together and donate (if willing to do so) to support the families of our two fallen Officers Tiffany Enriquez & Kaulike Kalama who had lost their precious lifes during a tragic incident on January 19th, 2020.
I am not a family member that is blood related but I am part of a bigger family within the law enforcement which considers us all to be brothers and sisters in blue. I have already contacted the HR Dept. of HPD Honolulu and relayed a message which included my info and phone number to relay to the families of our two fallen heroes when the time is right and they are ready to contact me. This time of grieve is a hard time. I have been questioned thousand of times on social media about my intent. I have answered every question I was able to ask. I have posted a video of myself explaining my intent on social media and I have received an overwhelming response. Some bad but mostly good.
I am putting together regular runs to collect recyclables to raise more money. For all of you who donated up to this point my heart felt thank you. For all of you who donated recycles to me a heart felt thank you. I am humbled and I am grateful for your donations.
Officer Enriquez & Officer Kalama have been taken away from a great community and have crossed the rainbow bridge leaving behind children, their loved once and friends and extended family. My heart is bleeding blue at this moment and as soon as they will be ready to contact me I will be strong for them and collect donations. I will walk the walk and do the deed until it they are ready on their terms.
I have made Contact with officer Enriquez Family (J. Enriquez) and Officer Kalama's Wife (K. Kalama) . I have been given shipping Info where to send the funds and the Family has expressed their deep gratitude and thanks for our efforts.
Updates of my actions will be posted frequently and I will keep you posted on my social media about further steps I am planning to do. I appreciate you all and may God bless you all and your Ohana. Mahalo and Aloha. "ALO"
