I am starting this fundraiser for my family during one of the hardest times we have ever faced. My wife was taken into custody after what began as a misunderstanding, and our family has been separated ever since.

After my wife was taken into custody, she was transferred into ICE custody. From our perspective, the way everything happened was extremely difficult and traumatic. As she was being taken away, significant force was used, and her wrists were injured during the struggle. We are deeply concerned about what happened and whether the proper procedures and authorization were followed. We are seeking legal help to fully understand what happened and to protect my wife’s rights. Our children are suffering from this separation. One of our children is autistic and especially needs their mom. I am doing everything I can to care for our children while also trying to find the legal help my wife needs.

The support from this fundraiser will help me pay for lawyers and legal expenses while I am unable to work because I am taking care of our children. Every day is a challenge as I try to be there for my children while fighting to bring my wife home. I never imagined our family would be in this situation. I am not asking for money for anything unnecessary. I am asking for help because I want to protect my family, get my wife the legal representation she needs, and give our children the chance to have their mom home again.
