Almost two years ago, I experienced a devastating loss that changed everything.

During a break-in, my car was emptied of all my creative tools — gear that took me years to build up and that helped define my journey as a street photographer and visual storyteller.

• My hard drive — filled with irreplaceable work and personal archives

Whether it’s capturing emotion in harsh light, finding beauty in rainy streets, or documenting everyday moments with cinematic feeling, this is the language I speak. Losing my tools felt like losing my voice.

Since then, I’ve kept going — doing what I can with limited resources, staying creative, staying passionate. But I haven’t been able to fully recover, financially or creatively. The gear I lost wasn’t just expensive — it was essential.
