After the opinions of 4 neurologists, Maya was not deemed a surgical candidate. They believe she suffered from an FCE (stroke of the spinal cord). She has a long road ahead of her with physical therapy and rehab, but she is not in pain It is unknown if she will ever be able walk without a wheel chair again, but she was so happy to get rolling around for the first time today. We are still raising funds for her physical therapy as it is $600-$1,200 per week. Any donations are much appreciated

Our dog Maya, suffered from a spinal injury on 7/30. She cannot walk, urinate normally, or use her back legs at all, they are currently paralyzed. This is because she has had some sort of injury to her spinal cord. We need to come up with $15,000 for her treatment. She has also developed a UTI, is having difficulty swallowing, and is at high risk for pneumonia, so she needs additional testing for that. I have Trupanion pet insurance for her exactly for times like these, but they are not providing any coverage for her.
