Jonathan's Medication

My name is Rose and this past weekend was the most scariest weekends of my life.  My son was complaining of severe headaches that was causing him to lose vision on his right eye.  He went to see an optometrist and was sent to see an opthamologist in which she ran three different test.  The exams came back normal except for the third, which showed a mass, she then sent him to the emergency room for a CAT-SCAN and MRI.  In the hospital they found and diagnosed him with a Pituitary Gland Tumor in which needed immediate attention.  They transported my son by ambulance to William Shands Hospital in Gainsville, FL (2 hours away), there they found he needed surgery.  My heart just sank, knowing that my baby, my one and only child was in trouble.  All of his life I protected and soothed his pain but this time it was out of my control.  I could not kiss his boo-boo and rub his back until he fell asleep.  This time God was in control.  Through my families prayers and my tears God intervened, 2 hours before his surgery the neuro-surgeon walked in with 7 residents and stated the tumor was benign and it can be treated by taking medications but the downfall is that he needs to take his medication for the rest of his life.  Cabergoline will help reduce the pressure plus shrink the mass and gradually restore the functions he's lost.  The sense of urgency reflects on his health, if he doesn't take the medication, the tumor will metastasize and he will need to go under surgery.  This medication is expensive and costly and I need help to obtain a 2-year supply to help my son.  Parents are not suppose to outlive their children, at least that's what I believe.  I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart for donating to my son's cause, I pray that God bless you in abundance and that He multiply you with double of your givings.  God Bless you all!
