We all know Beau as a fun-loving, free-spirited soul with a big heart and an even bigger laugh. Sadly, our friend suffered a devastating fall in New York City on Saturday, July 19th, 2025. He was rushed to the ER, where doctors discovered multiple traumatic injuries, including a brain bleed, fractured skull, orbital bone fracture, multiple facial fractures, a broken nose, and a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Beau was intubated and sedated for over a week, and although he is no longer intubated, he remains in the ICU. He requires 24/7 support, as well as a feeding tube and oxygen.
To make matters worse, as a freelance art director Beau does not have health insurance.
How Your Donations Help:
Beau faces a long road ahead. The next steps are likely to include inpatient acute rehabilitation for his Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), followed by ongoing physical, cognitive, occupational, and speech therapies, as well as continued follow-ups with specialists. He’ll also be unable to work during this time, making support for basic living expenses critical. His mother, Becky, also flew in from Texas to be with him at the hospital.
Our goal is to remove any financial anxiety he or his mother may have for the next three to five months, until Beau is able to heal and start working again.
Where Your Donations are Going:
- Living Expenses: Rent, food, and utilities while Beau gets back on his feet.
- Family Support: Transportation and other costs for his mother.
- Home Health Aide: Temporary in-home support during early recovery.
- Medical Bills: Covers critical care and medical expenses during his hospitalization.
- Transportation: Rides to and from medical appointments.
We are hopeful that he will make a full recovery, but the situation remains tenuous—both physically and monetarily. Beau has always shown up for his friends with loyalty, humor, and heart. Now it's our turn to show up for him when he needs us most. Please donate what you can.
