Yesterday my sister Stacy was life-flighted to the hospital as it was discovered that her brain was bleeding. She is currently in the NICU and a nurse told me today that this "will be a long stay." As many of you know, Stacy and Terry (her husband) are the primary caregivers to their 16 yr. old daughter Courtney. They also have a son who is attending college full-time. Stacy is unable to work due to the full-time nature of Courtney's care so Terry's employment is their source of income.
Sadly, Terry must choose between being at the hospital with his wife, staying home to care for Courtney or working. I thought if I could help to raise some funds it may relieve a little bit of pressure for them all right now.
Stacy is currently sedated and is on a ventilator, has a feeding tube and is being given blood thinners to hopefully clear out any blockages which may be causing the bleeding. It is unknown how long her stay will be or what the next course of treatment will be.
Please join me in prayer that miracles will happen and that the doctors will choose the correct plan of action and provide the best treatment possible. Pray that God will just cover Stacy with his love, mercy and peace that passeth all understanding...Thank you in advance for any help you are able to provide. God bless!
