Helping A Dear Friend & His Family
Donation protected

With the absence of his father, as the only male in his family, tradition dictates that Youssef was to care for the family which consists of his mother (Zahra), his two sisters (Rachida & Aicha) and a grand sister Nizha who suffers from a movement disability and poor eyesight. While we were there, tourism was in high gear, the economy was very strong and Youssef was able to provide for his family.
Then came Covid. The entire economy of Morocco came to a standstill. Youssef has not worked since March 2020. He sent me a video of him packing all of his belongings into a wooden cart because now he and his family are homeless and the children cannot attend school. Food is very sparse for them. We have sent Youssef & his family some intermittent money in hopes of getting him through some of these immediately tough times. As we all know, Covid's grip on an economy continues to be extremely tight and devastating.
So dear friends, in addition to the monies that we Cindy (a consultant & therapist), Lee (a retired professor at Washington University), Patricia (an author of 3 books, consultant and a psychotherapist) and I (an owner of a consulting company) are sending, we are asking for your help as well.
If you can find it in your hearts to donate any amount, small & larger donations will make an exponential difference for Youssef and his family. The difference of having food. The difference of being able to get shelter and stay off of the streets. The difference of once again having hope for better life.
While I have given to several, I have never done a GoFundMe campaign before. I sincerely hope those of you who read about Youssef and his family will find it in your heart to give what you are able to give.
